The Engineering Service Examination (ESE) also known as the Indian Engineering Service (IES) will be held in January, every year, and the same online application will be open from September. This test is an offline test and is conducted in three days on a continuous basis.
IES exam is conducted annually in 4 engineering departments. The branches are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering. The candidate who has done his B. / B B. Tech. a branch other than these four branches may also go for this test by selecting any of the four papers above.
